At Hair Haven Extensions Studio, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality services, customized installations, and premium hair extension products. Because of the nature of our industry and the time, materials, and personalization involved, our refund policy is outlined clearly below.

By booking a service or purchasing hair/extensions from us, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

1. Refunds on Services​
​

All services are non-refundable.

Once a service has been performed—whether installation, maintenance, consultation, or removal—no refunds will be issued.
This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Nano extension installations

  • Extension maintenance appointments

  • Hair topper installations

  • Colour matching or tone-blending services

  • Consultations (if a fee applies)

We encourage clients to communicate any concerns during the appointment so adjustments can be made immediately.

2. Refunds on Hair Extensions & Products​
​

Due to hygiene standards and the customized nature of hair extensions:

2.1 All hair extension purchases are final sale.

This includes:

  • Nano extensions

  • Hair toppers

  • Custom-ordered hair

  • Colour-matched bundles

  • Pre-toned or customized hair

Hair cannot be returned or exchanged once purchased, whether installed or not.

2.2 Retail products (brushes, shampoos, serums, etc.) are final sale.

Products that have been opened, used, or removed from packaging cannot be returned due to sanitation regulations.

3. Deposits
​

Deposits are used to secure appointment times and reserve time in our schedule.

All deposits are non-refundable.

However, deposits may be transferable if:

  • The client reschedules within the approved time window (as outlined in your booking policy)

  • The stylist approves the transfer

Deposits cannot be transferred to another person.

4. Order Cancellations for Custom Hair
​

If we have already ordered, toned, customized, or prepared hair for your appointment:

  • No refunds will be issued

  • Costs of custom hair cannot be reversed or cancelled

If you cancel before the hair is ordered, you may still lose your deposit depending on your booking terms.

5. Dissatisfaction With Results
​

We do not offer refunds for services based on:

  • Change of mind

  • Adjustments in preference

  • Expectations that were not communicated during the consultation

  • Incompatibility with extensions due to lifestyle or aftercare routines

However:

If you are unhappy for any reason, please contact us within 48 hours so we can assess and make reasonable adjustments at no additional cost (when applicable).

6. Maintenance & Aftercare Responsibilities
​

Because hair extensions require ongoing proper care:

  • We do not refund services due to client misuse or poor maintenance

  • Damage caused by heat tools, chemicals, improper brushing, or lack of recommended products is the client’s responsibility

Following your aftercare instructions is essential for the longevity of your extensions.

7. No Refunds for Allergic Reactions
​

Clients are responsible for disclosing allergies, sensitivities, and scalp conditions prior to the appointment.

Hair Haven Extensions Studio is not liable for allergic reactions to:

  • Beads

  • Silicone

  • Hair products

  • Metals

  • Adhesives

No refunds will be provided in such cases.

8. Chargebacks
​

Filing a chargeback without contacting the salon to resolve concerns is a violation of our Terms & Conditions.

Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in:

  • Termination of future services

  • Submission of evidence to payment processors

  • Recovery fees
